GB Tech, Inc. was founded by the current owners in 1985 to provide engineering and scientific services to several large aerospace companies in Houston. However, shortly thereafter, the Challenger tragedy occurred and all aerospace work was put on hold. Instead, we focused our attention on the small businesses in the community, providing them custom applications for their PCs.

In 1989, NASA returned to space, and GB Tech began to weave aerospace companies into its client mix. Sales in 1989 totaled $100,000, and one year later, exceeded $635,000. By 1994, our sales skyrocketed to $20 million - a 2,900% increase in a four-year period. As a result, we were named to the #41 position on Inc. Magazine's list of fastest growing private companies in the United States.

Today, our multi-million dollar company boasts a technical talent pool of several hundred employees around the country. While much of our contract work has been supplied through the aerospace industry, we look forward to branching out and applying our comprehensive array of core technical services to numerous other business sectors, including construction, energy, public safety, waste management and more.
