As a result of its quality
engineering services, GB Tech was recently awarded a 200
percent increase in areas of responsibility from The Boeing
Company. GB Tech is a recipient of several business and
industry service awards, including the 2004 NASA Public
Service Medal, 2002 NASA Minority Subcontractor of the Year,
2002 Technical Achiever Award from National Technical Association
and 2001 U.S. Small Business Administration's Houston District
Office Entrepreneurial Success Award. As a Boeing subcontractor,
GB Tech offers support in critical program support to the
Space Shuttle and International Space Station programs.
Program engineering service projects include system safety,
integrated hazard analysis, reliability and maintainability,
software quality assurance, hardware quality assurance and
integrated program planning.
Aerotec needed a method for obtaining aerial imagery with
elevation data to provide to customers in small areas at
a lower cost. GB Tech designed and developed a state-of-the-art
system that met their market needs. The innovative commercial
applications carry items such as unique LiDAR, multispectral
and digital imagery systems with guidance and control and
onboard GPS system and real-time downlink systems. We also
provided them with aerial maps (including elevation
data) from our unique Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) and
Cessna option.
